I saw Whispers of Wickedness disappeared into the ether, I believe this morning. Sorry, I was off for three days in Atlantic City. It was sad seeing it that way. I actually teared. Well... At least it's good to see some of you fine folks over here. Just curious, how come it was extended for an extra day? |

Yeah, it went down between 9.00 and 10.00 this morning. Think I got the last post in, but will never really know, unless someone wants to claim a subsequent one. We actually got three extra days. Vern said something about ISPs taking a few days to pull plugs, so guess that's what happened. |

Yes, I was sad to see it go. I ddn't contribute regularly but I did follow it on a regular basis since it started. Thanks, Pete and D. It sort of ran parallel with and then followed on from Dusksite. Where's Rick Cadger? |

That's a lovely obituary, Pete. I feel quite moved. ![]() Glad to see so many Whisperers have made it over here, but I've no idea where Rick Cadger is these days, I'm afraid. |

She's gone, but not forgotten. (And just to prove it, I had an email from an author asking me to archive their stories--after the website was gone. But thanks to Google and Internet Archive and other backup sites, I retrieved the stories and they're all added to the collection.) ((If we get a couple more stories to archive, then Rhys Hughes's pieces will no longer make up more than half of those in my list. There's a challenge!)) |

I felt quite moved reading Pete's blog too, but I think for another reason entirely. The explanation can be found on said blog... *looks at stomach quizzically* WTF? |

Sorry, but I replied to your 4000th Vern, and Ali replied to me, and I replied to Ali, so any advances on 4003? |

Interactioneers - I like the sound of that. I even bought a Fictionwise sub to Interzone so that I don't feel too much like an interloper here... |
