Hi All,

My novelette 'On The Rock' is in Ireland's Albedo One magazine this month.

A link to the website (and a brilliant cover) is at

http://www.albedo1.com/

Cheers

Colin

That Albedo One cover is exactly the same as the cover of Realms: The First Year of Clarkesworld Magazine.

And indeed: I have reason to like that cover...

I've just learned that Killers is a finalist for the 2nd Annual Black Quill Awards, in the category of Best Dark Genre Fiction Collection.

To be on the same ballot as Ellen Datlow and Peter Straub is simply astonishing.

My one concern is that people don'tthink that it's a horror collection. It's cross-genre, with three SF and a couple of fantasy stories as well.

The full ballot is at http://www.darkscribemagazine.com/current-nominees/

Colin

Weird. It manages to be both sick and wholesome at the same time.
