As a fan of DH, I bought this when it came out, but have so far found it surprisingly dull. 'Godel, Escher & Bach' is still his sole classic for me...

I forgot about that! And, now I come to think about it, wasn't there one called The Mind's I, or something like that... seem to remember that one had some good things within.
