Reviews of Elastic Press books, "So Far, So Near" by Mat Coward, "Extended Play" edited by Gary Couzens, and "Photocopies of Heaven" by Maurice Suckling can all now be read online at the Future Fire website (http://futurefire.net/2007.08/review/index.html). There's also a review of my own non-genre collection, "Residue", there too.

I'd say it was a success. "There is a blackness to its mood I recognize." A few writers and editors this afternoon have been enthusiastic about it. :) As long as the man doesn't top himself I'll be fine.

I think it's great to get such an extreme reaction in a review! Regardless of whether he liked it or not, that kind of review is bound to draw attention to the story! What's much worse is a bland barely-mention, even if the story was enjoyed. Good one!
