I'm now wondering if anyone who bought his book based on one of the pseudonymous reviews he posted would have the right to sue.

And Amazon are still selling it!

It would be tough being the person sued in that situation, where you know that you're unlikely to get the costs back from the claimant if you win, while if you represent yourself you won't incur those costs but you stand a better chance of losing.

I should encourage one of the legal publishers I work for to start a publication in that area, just to make sure I have a friend to call on!
