I promised editor Wesley Kawato I'd put out a submission call. If anybody has any science fiction stories ranging in the following four categories, NOVA SCIENCE FICTION, here in the United States, is looking to buy and publish them.

a) Religious or Christian-themed SF (this will get you in).
b) Hard SF
c) Time Travel themes
d) Alternate History

At the beginning, you will only get paid half-a-cent per word, for material up to 8000, maybe even 10000 words in length. Depends upon the piece. However, work with them a while and that'll go up to one cent per word and so on and so forth. You might even get the cover. It should also be noted that Nova SF frequently attends Doctor Who, Star Wars, Comic Book, and Miscellaneous conventions on the United States West Coast.

SNAIL MAIL ADDRESS FOR SF SUBMISSIONS:

NOVA SCIENCE FICTION
c/o WESLEY KAWATO
17983 Paseo Del Sol
Chino Hills, CA 91709-3947

Once again, Snail Mail Only.

They DO accept multiple submissions (save on postage by mailing them together). I'm not sure about simultaneous. Payment is by check and in American Dollars. Published semi-annually.

Cheers,
Lawrence

Glad I could be of help, Ray. And remember, you can always send them more than one submission... Two, three, four, whatever you've got seeing that Mr. Kawato wants to thicken his issues in 2010. He's been known to buy a couple at a time upon publication.

Matter of fact, I just got my 7th and 8th Acceptances to them, so if anybody wants a link or a "tad more" info, feel free to visit here:

Sent two, thanks. I'm hoping being published in Black Static carries as much kudos over the water as it does here; never shy of name-dropping, me.
