I was going to put this in the 'Plugs' thread, but then read Andy's suggestion and thought give it a go.

So, SteamPunk Magazine #6 is now out, free to download or available to buy at almost cost. And I have a story in there! I also get a credit as a 'contributing editor', which is flattering for a slush reader/proof reader.

You all know what Steampunk is and if you want something a bit more than steam powered computers, SPM explores the lifestyle and philosophy as well as the fiction. So go read! Enjoy!

This is G.D. Falksen's joint, isn't it, Foxie?

Will definitely check this one out!

The first four parts of Falksen's An Unfortunate Engagement ran in the first four issues of SPM, but unfortunately he siddeled off during an enforced hiatus for the magazine.

We have John Reppion (with the third and final part of his Doppler and the Madness Engine), Margaret Killjoy, Austin Dyches and Leah Dearborn keeping me company in the fiction stakes this time. And, of course, plenty of articles, how-tos, reviews and interviews. Hey, that rhymes. Almost like I did it on purpose...

Ahhh, yes, An Unfortunate Engagement --- a free version, I believe, too --- should be available here: www.steampunktales.com

If, of course, you have an iPhone or Kindle (or similar e-reading device).

Check out issue #2 - I'm in it.
