I'm a big Gaiman fan but seriously is Odd and the Frost Giants really one of the best five novellas of the year?

And the winners are:-

http://www.worldfantasy.org/awards/

Seems to be Jeffrey Ford's year, with best novel and best collection, emulating Stephen King's achievement at the Stokers.

A small TTA connection, in that Paul Meloy has a story, "Alex and The Toyceivers", in the winning anthology, "Paper Cities".
