Black Static

Listed below are the books received for review since the last update, which was back on 23 April 2012.

Thirty one new titles, taking our total books received for the year so far up to eighty seven, which averages out at one new title every two days if you're reading this on 22 June. That compares with twenty four titles reviewed in the two issues of Black Static published this year, though another issue is pending. Regardless, I am still receiving far more titles than I can review, so the usual advice stands - think long and hard about whether work is suitable for review in Black Static and be prepared for disappointment if you do send me stuff.

Nine of the thirty one titles are either written or edited by women, giving us a running total of twenty four out of eighty seven (28%), while because of a female led Case Notes in #27, currently 50% of the titles I've reviewed have had a female byline.
